The Red Ball Auction raises fully two-thirds of all funds raised by the Ainsworth Foundation. The Ainsworth Foundation supports Ainsworth Elementary and all of the Portland Public Schools, with two-thirds of the funds raised paying for teaching positions at Ainsworth and the remaining third supporting other schools through the Portland Schools Foundation.
